Genesis

As part of this project, I was tasked with pairing a display and functional typeface and typesetting an editorial article. Inspired by the bold, whimsical, and futuristic aesthetics of fashion, I chose to create a layout suited for a high-concept fashion magazine.

For the display typeface, I selected SK Femme Fatale — a font that embodies the spirit of powerful, enigmatic women. Its sharp forms and striking structure make it perfect for mastheads and headlines, evoking strength and allure while remaining highly versatile.

To complement it, I chose Cabinet Grotesk as the functional typeface. With its distinctive character shapes and strong stroke contrast, especially in heavier weights, Cabinet Grotesk brings both clarity and personality to body text, creating a cohesive and expressive typographic system.
